Turn 38 Orders due 05 April 2010
« on: March 08, 2010, 09:20:40 AM »
Hi everybody,

Turn 37 will end on March 14th 2010. After that, there will be a two-week downtime period during which FC '62 operations are completely transferred to Intelser. You'll see threads being locked on CBT.com as their contents are archived and you'll see new boards and threads opening on this side.

Certain roleplaying threads, such as the Star League Council, Clan Grand Council, and THAC will be opening early to allow for roleplaying to continue during the downtime period. Likewise, the faction IC threads will be opening soon.

Full gameplay will resume on April 1st, 2010. Orders are due by April 5th, and can be submitted to the Intelser FGC orders mailbox, located at:

Code: [Select]
FGC_orders@intelser.org

The current rules as published on CBT.com will be in effect for turn 38, but starting with turn 39 there will be rolling updates to the rules. Based on player feedback, all new rules revisions and erratta will have at least a one turn grace period before coming into effect.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or to post in the Q&A thread.
And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Apollyon, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

As folk would have seen from the above, I'm temporarily filling in as the guy who is tiding things over in regards the Capellan Empire.  That is, until the position is filled on a permanent basis by someone else.

That being said, if any faction/clan has agreements/trade with the Capellan Empire, could you shoot me a PM please with the details.

Thanks.

Orders sent for the TC.

BTW - I am willing to do the CPS orders if I can get a copy of the last turn's orders. I know many of the orders and deals so I can pretty much keep things level.

Not done with the Niops or the SLDF orders yet.  Kind of swamped with RL.  Niops should be easy, but the SLDF?  *shudder*

And is anyone doing the CPS orders?

I didn't, and I think I may be the only other active CPSish player around.  If you're game to do them, go ahead - I'm having enough "fun" sorting through the SLDF order sheets.

Given that I've still got 2-3 hours left of work tonight, and I have to be "frosty" for calls in....9 hours, I think I'm going to need a day or so extension on the Niops and SLDF orders.

Jeyar, since CPS doesn't have any "native" hexes to become interdicted you won't have any major penalties under the current rules if you are a little late. Can you get the orders in in the next 24 hours? That would be a big help on the administrative end.

So should we hold up on the Lyran/SLDF/TH front for now or go ahead and kick off the turn's festivities?

Extend this question to the War against the Mandrills in the HWs as well, if you like. All except Intel Missions should be good, I would say.

Might want to give Gio a couple of days to wrap the SLDF orders based on his recent remarks. I'm sure we'll be ready to kick off by the weekend though.

I'm still Captain Lagtastic on the SLDF stuff.  Trying to make sense of how Welshman did things is...different, and my Week from Hell hasn't helped.

Can we get a time limit on the SLDF orders? I mean, its not that we dont have rules to deal with that. The SLDF just does not issue orders.

Could even reflect the assassination of VSD.

I would like to continue in the IS soon. Not wanna wait more.

I fully agree with this Marlin and currently have submitted a possible remedy to Dave so that this does not happen anymore.

Here is what I propose: To save you nerves and us the time to wait, just resend it after you did enter the damage of the last turn (or not). Just dont do much of moving or any other stuff, just send it in.

Then it is done, you have another turn to figure out the stuff, and we have set locations for your forces. They are just defending.

Now it is the 12th day of the month and we are lagging behind. You even have it better as SLDF than the Playerless Clans which took massive RP hits due to no orders.

Send them. Let us start killing.

I'll do the SLDF orders if required.  I was a very minor minion for WM several cycles back, so do remmeber his creative system fairly well.

The Horses have mnimal presence in the IS area at the moment, especially after losing two galaxies of ground troops.  So the Clan players need only keep me informed of what is happening in the Clan Homeworlds.

The CHH fleet, such as it is, can be tasked by the Star Adders (ie... Dis or GG can use it as a extension of their fleet, with some political exceptions (ie... no orbital bombardment).  It's only 180FP strong, so it's not huge by any means.

At this point, guys, don't worry about the SLDF. We are working on a solution, but right now its safe to say they will be on defense this turn.

Thanks for the offer Parm. The point here is to get rid of "creative" or GM unfriendly sheets and clean them up. I would be happy to throw any questions your way if I am unable to cypher something.

I thought the sheets were never to be changed anyway?

But my question is: can we start posting IS threads without risking shift of SLDF units? Are all orders in now? (Mostly should as Intel was done.. )

I really wanna start some.. I hope my Clan is not gonna be crippled though :P

That's correct, but that didn't stop... everyone... from modifying it LOL

Yes, at this stage you are safe to post threads without worrying about "free intel syndrome."
