Use this thread to let us know if you are going to be away for any lengthy period of time. This lets the players and GMs know that you're unavailible, and also helps people plan things involving your faction(or the game itself should a GM be the one whose going to be away).

Gonna Be Late. all the shit at work that was preparing to fall apart has. We're now on mandatory overtime, using backup methods (means manual equipment in some places that we HAD automated). We also had a network problem here, which ended up getting a system restore done, so I've got to go back and re-do everything I was almost finished with regarding the faction sheets.

Means I'm going to be late. I don't know how MUCH late.

Going in for surgery on my leg in about an hour or so. Will not be availible untill much later tonight, but I will have my labtop, so I should still be around to some degree.

Will be back home monday most likly, perhaps Sunday if I'm lucky(not likly).

For those who don't know my dad has been real sick. He is moving in with me I am not leaving I am just not going to have as much time as before. I will still help out with one map per turn but I can't do multiple corrections.

If there is someone who can step up and help that is awesome.

I would like to remain head of the factions I am but if there is someone who can come in and be active I won't stand in your way (once you come in and have been active for a few months).

This may come as a bit of a supprise, since I haven't said much about it till now: my wife and I have just had our second child. As a resualt, this turn has been my last in this game, as I won't be able to continue even a limited role. best wishes for the game and for my friends, though i'll dountless look on as i am ablettf

I've been at this game (or the ones before it) for the past seven years. An equal span and I'll have a 9 year old and a 7 year old. And more time to get my wife on board...

Headed to Baltimore for a doctor's appointment tomorrow to see about ending the BS with my leg. Will be on skype tonight and tomorrow, but if you have questions that require reference to the faction sheets, you need to ask Dave, as I dont keep them on my labtop.

arrived safely at BWI like an hour ago, and happly ensconed in my bedroom. Yeah, thats right. We got upgraded to a 2-bedroom suite, thanks to Dad having a stupid number of rewards points, for going over to Vienna Austria once a month for the past 3 years.

leaving for boston in about 10 minutes. Having my tibia rebuilt, by taking out my fibula. Will be in the OR for 14+ hours, and likely wont even wake up before 10pm EST tonight.

so i will see people tomorrow, and I will have Skype as usual. I'm bringing my intelset files along, but don't expect much coherrency from me untill next week when I am home(and downtrending my painkillers a little bit).
