Turn 52 Timeline
« on: November 08, 2011, 01:11:04 AM »
Traditionally in FGC the month of December does not get its own turn; this is to compensate for the holiday times when people are away and to not put a paperwork burden on people when they have more "real life" demands than normal. This year we will continue to follow that successful model.

What does this mean for us? The most important thing is that we have a lot of time to try and megamek out the scenarios that are being posted. I want to encourage everyone to participate in this - that includes folks who are not currently active in the game. As long as you know the rules and have an account on the forums, I'm open to anyone participating. Obviously, for scenarios that involve player-controlled factions, give the faction owner first dibs on their scenarios.

Please do not roll any simple resolution until the 18th of December.

The turn formally ends on 31 December, but the last 48 hours will be in cleanup mode so please try and wrap up all your activities by the 29th.
And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Apollyon, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

Unless there is a general consensus that you would like me to do directed outcomes on the remaining fights and move on to Turn 53, my plan is to extend Turn 52 through January to facilitate fininshing the Turning Points and a few other items that I'll be discussing in a larger post on the general discussion board.

This would be a good thing at this point. I know that CS is having to rebuild his archives since his compy took a dump on him. On my end I would just like to NOT have my TP go to simpres the months of November and December were not kind to me.

Sweet....I'm all in favor, and much appreciative.  The last month has dumped on me pretty hard with family obligations - this'll give me a chance to get caught up.

I've been keeping an eye out for Holt to finish up Deia, good to know we have more time because the game just keeps getting bigger. I can't kill him as fast as he's spawning, and he doesn't want to kill off too many of my units and make a Nuke show up :P
