In the event of a forum rules violation, the administrative staff will take the following actions. In general, the staff will follow these steps in order, but reserve the right to immediately escalate to a higher level in the case of serious violations.

Step 1: Informal Warning - a staff member will counsel the violator in a private message regarding the rules violation.

Step 2: Formal Written Warning - a staff member will describe (in a private message) the specific violation and outline the penalties of any further noncompliance.

Step 3: 72 hour cooldown - as step 2, but the violator's ability to post or send private messages will be revoked for 72 hours.

Step 4: 30 day ban - the violator is banned for 30 days.

Step 5: indefinite ban - the violator will not be able to access the INTELSER forums until the adminstrative staff are satisfied that the user will comply with the forum rules.

Reaching steps 4-5 are, at the discretion of each game's GMs, grounds for removal of a player from a faction leader position.

Amnesty Period
26 August 2010 - 02 September 2010

Any players who are currently in violation of forum rules have until 2 September to contact the GMs, disclose any violations, and make arrangements to resolve the issue.

Please note this particularly applies to rules 3b and 3d. Any players who are found to have been in posession of fraudulent accounts prior to September 3rd 2010 and did not disclose them will be permanent banned from these forums.
And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Apollyon, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
